When you select this option, Dossier converts all incoming emails to Asana tasks and places them in a single Asana project. For team members with the role Individual or Manager, Dossier only converts emails to Asana tasks that were received from external senders and not emails from internal team members.
NOTE: When you use the Mailbox role for a user who is connected to their email inbox, you can send all emails to an Asana project. This includes emails from both internal team members and external senders. See Add a Mailbox to a workspace.
Dossier brings in emails from all your customers automatically and converts them to Asana tasks and places them in the project that you select here. In our example, Dossier converts all customer emails to tasks and adds them to the Customers project.
Dossier also tags the Asana tasks with the workspace name. This makes it easy to find all tasks in Asana for a particular client. For example, you received an email from firstname.lastname@example.org, and Dossier saved that in a workspace named Revcyclery. Dossier tags the Asana task that is created as “Revcyclery”.
