Customizing your Welcome and Auto-Reply messages give your site visitors a unique experience.
There are three Dossier templates that you can customize. For more information about editing templates and using variables, see Customize the Initial Email Invitation Template.
To change any of these messages, log in as the org admin to http://app.onboardify.com. Then follow directions in the
When the chat starts, Dossier displays a standard welcome message—“How can we help you?” You can see this Welcome message in the Campaigns tab. Follow directions in the figure above to change this message. After you save the message, Dossier shows this message to your site visitors.
While we live in a 24x7 world, sometimes the people who are designated to chat with website visitors may not be online. Dossier checks to see if team members who have the “chat” role, are online.
If someone with "Chat" assigned to them is online, Dossier displays the message in the Chat Auto-Reply template: "Someone will be with you shortly."
If no one is online, then Dossier displays the auto-reply in the Unavailable template and takes a message from the person chatting. See the figure below.
