Dossier chat is a great way to begin communicating with web site visitors. You can customize the message that Dossier shows to a visitor when the chat popup appears—this is the Chat Welcome message in the Campaigns tab. This is especially important if you are an international company and your web site has visitors that speak different languages.
You can also customize an auto-reply, i.e. the message that is shown after the visitor starts a chat, such as “Hello, you wonderful person, you! We're finding someone equally wonderful on our team to chat with you. What’s your name?” This is the Chat Auto-Reply message in the Campaigns tab.
When no one is available, Dossier shows an Unavailable message, which you can also customize, such as “Sorry, we’re all away, saving humankind, and can’t chat right now. Enter your name, email, and company name so that we can put you on our scintillating marketing list!”
